Today i had my doctors appointment and i had to get the strep b test and man oh man i hope i don't have it! I REALLY don't want an IV for delivery if i can help it! Everything is going well and Porter is doing great! I am not Dilated yet :( and only about 50 percent effaced! Looks like Porter is waiting till his due date to comes!!! He still LOVES kicking mommy in the ribs! I got an ultra sound because i have a blood vessel on my cervix! So they had to check on it just in case if i was to need a C-Section my doctor would know where and how to cut me! :( not the funnest news to get! I want to do everything possible to NOT need a C-Section but my possibility is very low since Porters head is already "down" and most likely not move due to how much room he DOESN'T have! It was really fun to see his cute lil face and features again! He is going to have very full lips and chubby cheeks...thanks to daddy! I am nervous because he is measuring a week and half big for his size! His head is already 9cm and weighs about 6 pounds and 4oz (or 14oz i couldn't hear the nurse that well) So my lil guy is going to be a CHUNK! I am so excited however i am scared about the delivery! Trying to go natural while pushing out a 10 pound baby might be just i lil difficult! :(
Monday, Justin started school! Another semester at the U! I love how much he LOVES school! He is so awesome to go to school AND work FULL TIME to support us! He is such a champ! I love him so much for that! I feel helpless since in the beginning i told him how i would work the whole time to pay for his schooling, but little did we know lil Porter decided to come into our lives so here we are now! I wouldn't take back starting a family so soon for anything! We are soo excited to meet our lil man! Justin and I are VERY anxious to be parents! I get really nervous that when Justin is at school all day that if my water was to brake i would probably panic and not know what to do without him here with me! I guess i would probably just have to drive myself to the hospital hahaha so i HOPE and PRAY that my water doesn't brake PERIOD or if it does, to have Justin home and not be driving his school kids to Ogden or something! CROSS YOUR FINGERS!
Saturday the 7th was my Baby Shower!! My lovely sisters BreeAnne and Whitnee and my mom put it all together!! It was so cute! I couldn't have done it better myself!-THANK YOU GUYS!!! We just did an Open House so we didn't really play games or anything! It was perfect! People came and we just snacked and mingled! A lot of people showed! I was so grateful! I got some really nice gifts too! NO DOUBLES...how awesome is that??? Even the most people i expected least came...my girls from High School...i was so excited to see them! So nice of everyone who came and supported me!!! I cant wait for my other shower tomorrow! :) My lovely Mother in Law Jodi is throwing me one for the "Leach" side! How nice! I'm super excited then i can feel like "I'm ready" I pretty much have everything i need!
So on Wednesday the 4th, we were able to help Brendan and Annie move out of the nest into their own place in Provo :) They wanted to be out on their own and experience real life and so that they would be closer to school (BYU for Brendan) it was a bitter-sweet moment! We were excited for them but yet sad because that meant they lived even FURTHER from us!! :( but Annie and I promised to try and see each other at least once a week...but who knows how that will go once Porter comes, I'll probably not travel a lot for the first month and half due to this frigid cold weather! We brought our truck down to haul all the furniture! Since their place was already furnished it was just a little! It took THREE cars to take their stuff and they STILL had more!!! Justin had work so i stayed and helped them move everything in! The place was pretty dirty so Annie and I cleaned the kitchen cabinets and drawers and counter tops! I vacuumed, however, the vacuum that is there to use was USELESS so Annie got hers from home! Their place is very cute! WE ARE SO HAPPY/EXCITED FOR YOU GUYS!!!
